Baptism

“It is the complete immersion into water. The word baptize comes from the Greek verb baptizo, meaning to cover or plunge in water, wash, dip, immerse. “Those who accepted his message were baptized…” (Acts 2:41a)

The English word “baptism” derives from the Greek word “baptizo,” which also means to plunge, bury, or immerse. The act of being baptised is a response to Jesus’ commands. A person’s conscience is expressed to God through baptism when they are immersed in that water. This action shows that you believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus, who is 100% God and 100% man, offered himself for this baptism, which is why water baptism is significant. Therefore, get baptized.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”(Matthew 28:19-20)
